physio torture (therapy) we all now how this one feels and the minute they start you so want things to be over its hell .im one of the lucky ones although i dread physio everytime it comes around the physio i have a physio that looks around for different opinions in which it has led him to a physio who specialises in the chronic pain conditions louis gifford, i have had a program put in place its about having base lines the base lines are set from what your body is capable of then working of that baseline upping by a small amount . to be honest it is helping me a lot firstly i am hitting the base line so i dont feel like im failing and when i can increase its a amazing feeling . secondly that cause you are working of a set base line i dont end up the next cpl days in a flare and stiffened muscles ie the over doing it syndrome which most of us know well . i had become pretty down hearted about it all lately i had gone back three years with the spread into my spine but doing physio therapy in this way is allowing me to get my confidence back as all i have done is fail ie failed meds cause i had allergies failed ops due to mrsa failed relearning to walk its a lot to take in , from being a very fit person a gold medallist in tkd and a keen equestrian to not making it through a full 24hrs without a fall . i am going to post the link for louis gifford and if any of you are struggling and have decent physios ask them to look up what hes doing ,it will be worth it even if it just makes you feel your not failing .
