small voice pg2

This became a life changing event. one that no person should eve have to go through,

Back through the summer of 2007 and probably before just attempting doing three

Three different jobs and going to a gym and swimming very morning and a very healthy martial arts carer ,and rode horses most days  put the extra pressure on my knee which started the events that I'm going to write about.

Whether this is just to give me a small voice in a big world or to enable others too see that they really aren't on their own and that they have voices too , I don't know.

This all started with my knee starting to get very painful at first as stubborn as I am I did not take any notice or seek a medical opinion .

I had had knee problems a few years previous and didn't think too much about it I knew to ice the swelling and heat the pain to ease the muscles off .so I carried on with life at which point things got worse my knee was giving way from underneath me for no reason ,I could not step up a stair could not step on  uneven ground ,step down a kerb and I would end up in a heap on the floor . It was time to seek help as this was getting dangerous and I was becoming scared to use the equipment at the gym as a accident there was going to be a nasty one was already covered in scrapes and bruises.

Anyone that's had this happen will fully understand.

At first I tried a private physio therapist these people are fantastic but well deserve the nic name physio terrorists ,they certainly make your body react and hurt in ways u never thought it could, sorry  to all the physios . The one I had was amazing and worked on that  knee with all things known to man ,she worked at the local gym that I was using so I did not have to go looking ,

Once a week she would work on the knee which did ease some of the symptoms and every  now and then would come and see how it was now responding  in the gym, but the time that I had been avoiding had  come I had to go speak to my gp .
